A Day At The Lake

We had our annual day at the lake. It was the perfect day! Thanks for having us Paulette!!

Auntie came and road the jet ski for the first time! She had a blast!!

Last year Kamryn did everything…this year she was scared. I did force her to go on the boat with me. She screamed like you wouldn’t believe when we were getting in the boat. Once we got going though she did really enjoy it. For some reason out of no where she has this fear of the unknown. I guess thats not totally a bad thing but she used to be so fearless…its weird how fast she’s changed. I’m sure next year she’ll be right back to that fearless girl! 

The highlight of the day for Kamryn was definitely feeding the ducks. This was right up her alley. She was so excited for how close they were to her! They were practically eating out of our hands. I have to admit it was really cool!

Brother & Sister

Kamryn really is a great big sister and loves her baby brother so so much!

I hope and pray that their bond continues to grow and they are the best of friends throughout their lives. I know from personal experience how wonderful the brother/sister relationship can be. It’s a bond like no other and I am so happy my kids get to have that! I hope Kamryn teaches Logan how to treat a lady and Logan always looks out for Kamryn. Sorry Kam but someday Logan is going to be bigger than you…be nice to him! You too Logan, be nice to your sister always!! I know they are going to fight and they are going to bug the crap out of each other but at the end of the day nothing will change the fact that these two are connected forever.

 We are so excited to watch these two grow up together!

Logan's First Beach Trip

When Logan was just a couple weeks old we took him for his first official beach trip. Of course, he slept the entire time. But it was nice to get out of the house for a few hours and relax. Kamryn had a blast! We went to Scusset Beach…its beautiful! We are really lucky where we live and have quite a few great beaches to choose from. Mike really enjoys going to the beach and has taken Kam a few times just the two of them. I am not really a beach goer but I think I may have to get used to it. Kamryn loves it just as much as Mike and I’m sure by next year Logan will too! We are looking forward to many summers spent at the beach!
