Logan is 6 months old!

Can you believe it?! Time is flying by and I’m holding tight onto every moment. I wish he could stay a baby forever!!
Logan is now 17 lbs 3 oz. He’s a moose! Kamryn was 18 lbs 9 oz at a year old. It’s crazy how different boys are than girls.
He’s a drooling machine with no teeth just yet. But we are waiting…patiently.

Logan is eating solid foods. He’s been having rice cereal for about two months, fruits for a month and we just started to introduce vegetables. So far there’s nothing he’s refused. Which is great! Just the other day I started getting him to try and eat cheerios and puffs. He’s slowly getting the hang of that.

As you can see in these pictures he’s sitting up on his own. Not for too long before he topples over but he’s doing great! He rolls and rolls and rolls and rolls and rolls…you get the idea. We thought he had the army crawl down but has completely stopped that. Too much work. He’d much rather roll, so much easier.

We got the great news that Logan no longer needs his helmet. He had it for about a month and a half and his head is now perfect! They are so surprised at how quickly it corrected itself but said since I made sure he wore it for 23 hours a day and we caught it at the perfect time, we got lucky and sped the process up quite a bit. If he had gotten it when he was older he most likely would’ve needed it for a lot longer. Their heads aren’t growing as fast then. I am so happy I basically begged my pediatrician to give us a referral. We are so happy with the results! So worth it!!

He goes to bed between 7 and 8 at night and sleeps til about 4am. Wakes up drinks a small bottle and then goes back down til 7 or 8. He’s a great sleeper and is averaging 3 naps a day. A small one in the morning, usually 45 mins to an hour,  a 2 hour nap mid day and again a small nap in the late afternoon.

Logan is so laid back. He loves playing with his big sister and/or sitting back and watching her play. He’s always happy and only cries when he has a dirty diaper, is hungry or tired. He has his first ear infection but you’d never know it. He’s still has happy as can be! Kamryn is determined to get Logan to say “mama” and he’s almost got it but I’m not calling it just yet. We love this little man so much. We can’t wait to watch him grow and learn so much more in the next 6 months! Cannot believe we are halfway to his first birthday!!
Happy 1/2 Birthday Logi Bear!!
{PS: Kamryn made sure to sing Happy Birthday to him this morning:)}

Welcome to the family Sofia!

Kamryn has FINALLY gotten the hang of the potty and as a reward she decided she wanted a fishy. We went to the pet store and she picked out the prettiest pink and turquoise beta fish and named her Sofia. Kamryn has a slight obsession with a new show on Disney Junior called “Sofia the First” so she names EVERYTHING Sofia. All her baby dolls, all her stuffed animals and when it came to her fish of course she had to call it Sofia. {insert my surprised face here}

A fish bowl complete with a pink castle and this fish is perfect for a Princess!
We are so proud of Kamryn for using the big girl potty! Just like everyone told us, one day it just clicked. We put her in big girl underwear Wednesday and by Thursday afternoon she went on the potty. She had one accident after that and believe it or not hasn’t had a single one since! WOO HOO! She’s awesome! Way to go Kam!! As she says she’s “rocking on the potty!”

Kamryn's Lightening McQueen Party!

We had a great time at Kamryn’s birthday party! She decided she wanted to do a “YaQueen” themed party, so Lightening McQueen it was! He is her favorite!!
Our princess all ready for her guests to arrive…VERY excited!
Mama and her babies all decked out in their McQueen coordinating outfits.
(Logan had a t-shirt with a McQueen tie)
Family shot…the best we could get
Opening presents
Cupcake time…I wish this picture was a little brighter, not sure why it came out so dark?
I loved the decorations I found on etsy. There were perfect!!
(Kam’s dress and Logan’s shirt were etsy finds as well)
Kamryn at the end of the night before bed. She was telling me all about how much fun she had.
Kamryn had the best time, as did we. She played harder than she’s ever played before. She also encountered her first “sugar high”…holy moly! I’ll be doing my best to make sure that doesn’t happen again any time soon. But all in all the day was really nice. Thank you to everyone who came and made this day extra special for our little girl!

Enjoy this little video of us singing happy birthday…
