22 weeks

Okay..not quite but I will be 22 weeks on Friday.

I went to the doctors today and everything is going great with “Baby Boy Sass”. His heartbeat was nice and strong and I am measuring right on track. To be honest, I was happy to hear that because everyone seems to think I have popped out like crazy! So I am not huge I am normal! Believe it or not, I am exactly the same size as I was when I was pregnant with Kamryn at this point. I laughed because my doctor is just as shocked as I am that we are having a boy. She swore it would be another girl as well. She was flipping through the paper work and even double checked and read it again. HA! I love her!! At my last appointment I saw the nurse practitioner and I got my ultrasound done at the hospital so this is the first time I’ve seen her since the news. 

Mike and I have picked a name for “Baby Boy Sass”, he will be Logan Michael. I know I said I would keep it a secret until the end but we’ve already told so many people and we know our parents haven’t kept it a secret so might as well put it out in the open. We absolutely love his name and think it is extra special because our wedding reception was at Logan Airport. 

I am feeling much better in regards to “morning sickness”. However the nausea has not completely subsided. Every now and again I feel sick which isn’t a bad thing, I can deal with it, its just more annoying at this point. My sciatica has been acting up and I think that is due to Logan being so low. My doctor says he’s up where he should be but when he moves it’s pretty obvious, he’s definitely low. At this point I am just getting anxious and even though 4.5 months isn’t that long I am ready for it to be July so we can meet our little man and can start operating as a family of 4. (family of 6 if you count the dogs.)
