The Kids..

KAMRYN ALEXIS
(Kam, Kam-Kam, Kamma-Lou, Punk)
Our baby girl will be 4 in just a few short months. I can’t wrap my head around the fact that I have a preschooler who is almost 4! Where did the past 4 years go? Why does time have to go by so quickly? Kamryn lately is still that hilarious girl who keeps us laughing. She’s really into singing, more so than ever. She’s always singing whether its a song on the radio or making up her own song as she goes along. She’s got the sweetest little voice. She wants to play with her train/train tracks every single day. She’s loving school! LOVING IT! She doesn’t want to leave at the end of the day and is constantly asking when she’s going back. Kamryn is all about cheerleading, which is hard to find at her age. So I guess in a couple years that will be her sport (if she doesn’t change her mind). She’s obsessed with cheese sandwiches, fruit snacks and strawberries. Seriously, she’d live on those if I let her! I had to set a limit on all 3. She’s the best and I thank God for her every single day. Even when she’s driving me crazy!

LOGAN MICHAEL
(Logi, Logi-Bear, Bubs, Bubba-Boos, Mr Man)
Logan will be 14 months on Tuesday. He’s a walking/running man. He’s happiest when being independent. He’s loving the freedom he has now that he’s learned what it means when Mama says no and I can keep him away from what he’s not supposed to touch. But god forbid I try to corral him in his pack n play for 10 minutes to take a shower, oh no, not allowed. He throws a major meltdown. He quickly gets over that and is such a love. Logan will always take a minute to give you a hug, a kiss or some snuggles. Lately he has been such a sponge. He’s picking up on everything and is saying more and more words. I’m not sure what the number is but some of the words he says are: mama, dada, Daddy, Zacky, Gigi, uh oh, hi (his absolute favorite word), doggie, bubba and “Kah” (for Kamryn). There’s more but I’m drawing a blank at the moment. He’s starting to say animal sounds too, with his favorite being roar! That one usually comes out when I ask him what the beast says from Beauty and the Beast. I had tried SO hard to get Logan off his bottle and to drink out of a sippy cup and he all out refuses! I’ll give him a sippy (I offer at least one a day) and he throws it down and cries. Won’t even attempt to drink out of it. Such a little stinker! He’s a great eater and theres not anything he refuses to eat. He’s also a great sharer and the dogs love that! He sleeps anywhere from 12-13 hours a night and naps once a day for 2 hours. Logan is such a mama’s boy and I love every second of it! We are so lucky to have him as our son. This is such a fun age and probably my favorite stage. All the learning that happens in the coming months is so cool to witness! I’m really looking forward to it!
