We changed our baby's name...yes, we did

After spending a couple weeks with our beautiful baby girl it’s become obvious to us that she just wasn’t Elliot after all, she’s Kensington. So after a long, much well thought out process we have decided to legally change her name. (A big thank you to our family for being so understanding and supportive! And our pediatrician who assured us we’re not crazy.) I’ll spare you all the details. We know this isn’t something that most people do but we hope you can all support us in this decision. We did what we felt was best for us, our family and most of all, for Kensington Bree!

Thanks to everyone for all the encouraging words since we announced this. We are so lucky to have such amazing people in our lives! 

To most people she’s just Kensie and so far everyone LOVES her name! Plan is to enjoy the Christmas season with her, and her big brother and sister, and deal with all the legal stuff later. From what I’ve read its quite the process but Mike and I know its going to be worth it! She’s definitely Kensington! :) 

This is definitely going to be quite the story to tell her when she’s older!!

Life with 3 Kids

It’s funny how things work out, isn’t it? Mike and I just keep saying to each other how blessed and lucky we feel. Our family is complete and it’s such a cool feeling. A tad bittersweet but more so just a warm happy feeling. The kids are adjusting so well and Elli is (so far) the easiest baby EVER! I can’t put her down. She’s such a snuggle bug and I’m being a total baby hog! But as her mother and her being my last, I think I hold that right. I’m soaking up every second of this!!

We want to thank everyone who congratulated us on her birth, those who came to visit us in the hospital and all those who have reached out in one way or another. Mom, thanks for taking care of the kids while we were in the hospital and for staying an extra day to help with a few things around the house. You were such a big help! xoxo

Introducing * Elliot Bree Sass *

 6 lbs 12 oz and 20 3/4 inches long

She is simply perfection in our eyes and truly does complete our family. We are all so in love with this little lady and Kamryn and Logan are ecstatic to have Elli at home with us! 

I’ll be sure to post more pictures as soon as I can. Life sure is busy with three but we are enjoying every second!
