55 Degrees!

We got the littlest, tiniest taste of Spring and we totally ate it up! 

It was 55 degrees!

We went for a nice long walk and then hung out in the driveway for about an hour before Mike had to head out to school. We had our first official family snowball fight and it was so much fun! It’s a lot of fun as they get older and we can do more fun things like this as a family. We were all craving fresh air!!! The kids we’re soaked and covered in snow as it was much too warm for snow suits. So, they hopped in the bathtub to warm up when we came in.

Kensington happily napped in her stroller! :) 

Then the next day we were back to freezing temps….but, it was nice while it lasted!

Spring where are you?!?!?!

Kensington Bree at 4 Months

It’s hard for me to wrap my head around the fact that this baby has been here for 4 months already. It feels like she was just born. Kensington fits right in with our crazy bunch. She just started solid food (rice cereal) yesterday and already is doing great! She really seems to like it, the highchair is a huge hit and I’m hoping as she gets the hang of eating from a spoon it’ll mean she sleeps more. Mama is tired!! Right now she goes down between 7 and 8, sleeps til around midnight, has a bottle, sleeps til 4:30am, has a bottle and then wakes for the day around 7. I cannot wait until I can get some uninterrupted sleep! Although, I have to admit, I love that quiet time with just me and her. I’ll definitely miss that! 

Kensington is now 12 lbs and 24 inches long

Thankfully Kensie has been putting on weight consistently for the past few months so she’s officially off our pediatricians “worry list”. She’s just a peanut like her big sister…a healthy peanut!
