Recently we’ve had some great weather. This winter was long, cold and depressing. Mike and I had many conversations on moving far away where snow isn’t a thought. We’re done with clearing the cars off, scraping ice off the windows to see where you’re going, shoveling for daaaays and being white knuckled on a steering wheel when you have somewhere to go and it’s snowing. Not to mention bundling the kids up. They are so uncomfortable in all those layers and by the time we get to the car or where we’re going everyone is sweating. It’s really not enjoyable at all! My kids don’t even really enjoy playing in the snow. Weird I know. After the first snowfall Kamryn continuously asked me when summer was coming. To top it all off we still have a pile of snow at the end of our driveway that won’t melt. Just reminding us how miserable we were for months and months. So yes, the Sass’ HATE winter!
BUT! Spring has officially sprung and we couldn’t be more excited! My car broke down this week….SO MUCH FUN, so needless to say we were home bound. The kids were so excited to get out, stretch their legs and get some much needed fresh air and vitamin D!
