It’s hard for me to believe we are officially closer to her first birthday than we are to the day she was born. Where does the time go?! With each of my babies it seems to go faster and faster!! But it sure is fun as they get older.
Kensington is still content just hanging out and watching Kamryn and Logan. She’s not interested in crawling AT ALL. Let’s be honest, I’m totally fine with this. Once she is mobile all bets are off! She’s sitting up a lot better and still rolling rolling rolling. She’s eating a lot more real food. Usually whatever we are eating for dinner, I’ll give her a little bite of mine and so far there’s not much she’s refused. It shows in those chubby thighs! Girlfriend LOVES food! I wish I could report she’s sleeping better but honestly it depends on the night. Sometimes I’ll get a good 6-7 hour stretch from her and others she’s up every 3 hours. Kensington is definitely my worst sleeper yet. Ah well…she’ll sleep when she’s ready. Mama is definitely ready though.
She’s still always happy. You barely hear a peep out of her unless it’s happy squeals, baby babble or laughing. She thinks her big brother and sister are a riot. They definitely get the best belly laughs out of her. She’s saying both “mama” and “dada”. “Dada” is DEFINITELY her favorite word. She gets the biggest kick out of knowing what I’m asking her to say and repeating it. She’s a lot of fun!
