BABY! 

The Sass’ are at it again! Baby Sass #4 will be here at the end of March! Due Easter Sunday to be exact. I have had all my babies a week early, Kamryn due to needed an induction and Logan & Kensington because I wanted an induction. So……lets just go ahead and say this one will be a week early too. We live over an hour from the hospital, a few hours with traffic, and when I begin to show signs of labor my doctor doesn’t take any chances. We would rather me not give birth in the car, on the side of the highway. Let’s add in the  fact that Kensington came just over an hour after my water broke….I think another induction is probably in our future. 

With that being said, this baby was a HUGE surprise. I talked about a fourth baby here and there but the plan was to revisit that in a couple years. We seemed to change our minds daily on if we wanted a fourth or if our family was complete. So we decided to shelf it for now. Then came a couple days of feeling queezy due to random smells, a few positive pregnancy tests, a holy crap moment, and here we are! We are so happy. 

We find out next week if baby is a boy or a girl. So far 99.9% of people are saying boy. I’ll be honest, I don’t think anyone is using any science in their guesses. I’m thinking they are saying boy for Logan’s sake. Everyone agree’s he could use a brother. While Mike and I would love a boy (for Logan) we would be thrilled with a girl as well. Kamryn changes her mind daily and as of late says “I want a brother and a sister. I’ll be happy with both!” Logan tells me he thinks it’s a boy. Kensington — our poor girl has no idea what’s coming her way. My gut is telling me girl and I’m pretty sure Mike’s is too, although he won’t admit it. He just keeps saying “I hope it’s a boy.” with a huge smile like he’s hiding something. When I say girl I’m going by how I’m feeling, heart rates, what I’m craving…you know all those old wives tales which mean nothing. Hey! It’s a 50/50 shot! We’ll see if mothers intuition is right or everyone else…

So yes, Kensington and the baby will be close in age. Only 16 months apart to be exact. Yes….I’m going to be extremely busy! Good thing I’m tough!!

Names: UGH! I’m scared to even bring this up. If you read this blog you know how indecisive I was with Kensington’s name. I’m told I still til this day overthink it. But, basically this time it’s up to Mike and it’s looking like he’s made a decision. I love both the names so that makes it a lot easier. Mike also doesn’t give a crap what anyone thinks about him or what anyone thinks about the names we choose so that helps too. I wish I was more like that. Add that to the list of the many MANY things I love about him! But, we’re going to try to keep the name a secret….even after we find out the sex. I say this every time I’m pregnant but I really think this time we will. Guess we’ll see.
