Catching up .... Spring and Summer

 

This post is mostly going to be a catch-up post with lots of pictures. I know I'll regret not having these so here we go.... This post is dated for early July but really, I'm writing it in November. 

Easter 2024

We had family over and also celebrated Tenley's 8th birthday.

Then on April 8th we were able to see the solar eclipse. It was really really cool! The kids' schools provided eclipse glasses to all the kids.

We look like total dorks!

Our backyard came together so nicely. It's absolutely beautiful and deserves its own post. Which I will get to. But here is a nice sneak peek. All we need is to get it hydroseeded in the Spring and then we will be good to go! What will our next project be? We shall see....

Logan is now not only a great boxer but has also taken up dirt biking. Two sports this mama swore she'd never allow. Of course, he loves it!

I dread the day Kensington and Tenley won't let me dress them alike! It's coming SOON so I cherish these moments while I've got them.

Kamryn had her 8th grade semi ... followed by her 8th grade graduation!

Her mama was ready to pop! Baby Archie was almost here!

Speaking of....here is one of the only "bump pictures" I got while pregnant. When it's your 6th baby taking pictures just isn't a priority. But at least we have a few to document the pregnancy. The fast but awful pregnancy. I was so sick, so swollen and so exhausted. 

4th of July!

And here's our beauties in the backyard. As you can see in the background we put in an above ground pool at the beginning of the summer. It was a lot of fun for the kids, and they used it every single day! Mike's dream is to have an inground pool someday, so this is a great starter pool for us. Pools take a lot of work (much more than I even thought) so we will take the practice!
