Nicole Day recently took some pictures for us of Kamryn. They came out SO beautiful I had to post a few here. These came out better than I ever could have imagined!! She does great work and believe it or not is just starting out in the industry. From these pictures you can tell she is at the start of a very successful career in photography! I cannot wait until the summer to have her take more pictures of Kamryn!

85 Degrees!

   

We have had a GREAT Spring so far…and today feels more like Summer. Its 85 degree’s!!!! I haven’t gotten Kamryn sunscreen yet so we didn’t really get to enjoy it outside. Plus Daddy is at work with the car and the stroller is in the trunk. Tomorrow I will have the car and the weather is supposed to be just as nice, hopefully we can get out of the house and enjoy it!

I took Kamryn yesterday to the doctors yesterday for a shot and a weight check. She is now 11 lbs 4 oz!! I cannot believe it…she is growing so fast! Next month we will start food. I don’t know why but I am so excited for that. She did great with her shot, cried for a less than a minute but then was back to her happy smiling self. Kamryn has had an on going cold for over a week. She continues to be happy, is drinking her bottle with no problem and had no fever so the dr said she should be fine.

Mike and I are busy all the time! Ahhhh the life of parenthood! I know I mention this often but Mike is a great Dad. He can ALWAYS ALWAYS put a smile on Kamryn’s face and he got her first full on laugh out of her last week. She is such a Daddy’s girl already!! Mike is busy with work as usual, going to the gym (his stress outlet) and spending time with us! As for me, I am going back to work soon, just a couple days a week. Should have been this week (today actually) but with how busy we have been I completely forgot to renew my cosmetology license while I was on leave. So looks like it may be next week! I have mixed feelings about it, I need to get out of the house but I know how stressed and aggravated I was everyday after work at the salon. I just hope it doesn’t happen again. If only the economy wasn’t so bad and I could find something else to do? Oh well until then….it is what it is! Here’s hoping it’s better this time around!

We are anxiously awaiting summer so we can have this gorgeous weather everyday….well almost everyday!

Kamryn's First Easter

Kamryn and Gretzky’s Easter Baskets!

We had a wonderful busy Easter Sunday! The day started off with us going to Pappi and GranDee’s house. We enjoyed the beautiful weather with a nice walk around the neighborhood. Showing off Kamryn, of course, in her pretty dress too all the neighbors! Pappi is probably the most proud grandfather I have ever seen! I LOVE to watch him with her, I guess it makes me think of how he was with me. Obviously I would never remember that…but it’s fun to think of! After Pappi’s house we went to Mike’s Grandmothers house where we saw her her Uncle Jim and Uncle Jerry, her Papa, Great-Grandmother and a few great Aunts and Uncles! Kamryn slept most of the time we we’re there…but it was like Christmas! She got so much stuff…I guess that’s what happens when your the baby of the family and a girl! Then it was off to Mimi and Pop-Pops house for dinner! This year it was very small with just our family, which was nice but I missed seeing everyone from the Donga side of the family. Kamryn was such a trooper…she was soo tired by the end of the day! We had a lot of fun but also very thankful it will be awhile before we have to do all that running around again in just one day!
