Cousins…Tamwyn and B-ell

My cousin Caitlin and her daughter Brielle came over on Thursday so they could meet Ryker and so the girls could have a play date. These pictures are too too cute!!! Brielle calls Kamryn “Tamwyn” and Kamryn calls Brielle “B-ell”. It is so fun to watch them play together. I might sound like a broken record but I am so happy Kamryn has a cousin so close in age to grow up with.

Why do I get a small inkling these too are going to get into some trouble together when they are older?? Must be those pretty blue eyes they both have!

A trip to the lake

We took Kamryn to the lake on Saturday and she had so much fun! She went on her first jet ski ride with Pappi and her first kayak ride with Daddy. She may be girly but she was made for the outdoors. Miss Kam is the most happy when she is outside and if it has to do with water she is all for it! Needless to say, the lake was right up her alley. We had such a great day and it was so incredibly relaxing. We can’t wait to take Kamryn back again!

Ryker came too and was such a good boy! Our poor puppy fell off the dock because the jet ski scared him. But at least now we know for sure that he can swim.

Unfortunately, Gretzky could not make it. He was sick at the hospital early that morning. Turns out he just had a stomach bug but while we were at the lake he was at the vet so they could watch him. He is doing 100% better now but it was still very scary!

Ryker William Sass (Our New Pup)

Last week I had wrote on my facebook that I had a big decision to make. Well…the decision was whether or not we should expand our family. No not whether or not we should have another baby, but whether or not we should get a puppy. We decided to just go for it!! Well this all happened super super fast. I contacted the breeder in Georgia on Monday. She told me to pick which puppy we wanted…well that part was easy. “Blue Collar Boy” stole our hearts. By Wednesday it was “are you committed?” Thursday I made the payment via paypal and Friday the breeder was at the vet with the puppy getting the papers for him to fly to us on Sunday. And Sunday morning bright and early we drove to the airport to pick up our new little guy. When they brought him out in the crate Kamryn went crazy!!! She squealed “PUPPY!!!!” She was laughing, yelling and jumping around. I can honestly say I’ve never seen her that excited before. On the ride home we tried to pick out a name for him….we went through A MILLION names!! Until Mike said “Ryker”. I loved it and better yet, he looks like a Ryker…..well to us anyways. The introduction with Gretzky went surprisingly well. Gretzky is very unsure about Ryker and you can tell he is wondering if he will stick around. But Ryker is so lovable and just wants to play with Gretzky. I’m sure before we know it they will be best buds!

Ryker is a goldendoodle. He is 1/2 golden retriever and 1/2 poodle. He will grow to be about 60 lbs. Right now he is one big fluff ball but hes already bigger than Gretzky. He does not and will not shed and is hypoallergenic. (WOO HOO!!) Ryker is such a good boy! He is already doing very well with potty training (of course he has had a few accidents but we expected that). He is 8 weeks old. He is such a love bug and loves to cuddle. We just love him already….

So now we are a family of 5, Momma, Dadda, Kamryn, Gretzky and Ryker.

I am LOVING married life! Leading up to the wedding I really thought that I wouldn’t feel any different. The only thing that was going to change was my last name, right? We have the kid, the dog, the house and of course, all the stress and the bills that come along with all of those things. I cannot believe it but I honestly do feel different! I feel complete!! Its amazing how the simple words of “I do” change your life in ways you never thought possible. I feel closer to Mike than ever and it is SO exciting to call him my husband! (I am still getting used to it though..)

I cannot believe how calm I was all day. I got emotional (happy tears of course) a few times during the day but nerves never kicked in. I was so extremely excited!! I know with all my heart that Mike and I will be together forever. He is the sweetest, most caring, loving, understanding…the list goes on and on, person in the world. I am the luckiest girl in the world to stand up next to him for the rest of my life!!

I love you Mike and I am so proud to be your wife!!

Just One Week....
