Life Lately

Let's start with some sweetness....

My two best friends had babies this past month.

First up, Kamryn and I got to meet Annie and Marcus' newest addition - Ellie Rose. Annie and Marcus also have JJ, who I didn't get a picture of when I was there. JJ was much too excited to show off his cars to Kam and play with his big brother gift we brought him...monster trucks! 

Kamryn was absolutely smitten.

And then I got to sneak away and meet Jenn and Matt's little man - Carter Matthew.

You all know I LOVE babies! Baby fever is REAL guys! But it's true, there is something wonderful about holding a baby, giving it back, and going home to get a full nights sleep. :-) 

Kamryn and Logan have been taking swimming lessons at their Papa's house. This picture above is the kids waiting for Papa to come pick them up this past Thursday. Kensington just REALLY wanted to be in the picture. So, Papa's girlfriend Rea used to teach kids how to swim and was a compeititve swimmer so when she offered to help me with the kids...an amazing and generous offer....we jumped on it. They will finish up this week but they've both made so much progress! Best of all, they are loving the special time with Papa and Rea. Thanks Rea!!

And finally, Mike and I attended his cousin Joe's wedding last night at a castle up in New Hampshire. We had the best time! That crew knows how to party!!

My three dates! Lucky me!

Mike and I spent the night up in New Hampshire and my dad and Dee stayed at our house with the kids. My dad and Dee were not only helpful with the kids but my dad did some yard work that needed tending to and they both helped me catch up on some cleaning projects inside the house too! Seriously, the BEST kind of babysitters. I cannot thank you guys enough!!!

That sums up life lately.... It'll be early to bed tonight for me. I'm EXHAUSTED!

Happy 6th Birthday Logan!

We love you more than words can say! I LOVE that you are our rough and tumble in a house full of kitty cats and unicorns. Kamryn, Kensington & Tenley are so lucky to have you as their brother and your dad & I are incredibly blessed you are our son!

Camp Logan

Yesterday we had Logan's 6th Birthday party! His actual birthday is Tuesday but we celebrated a couple days early. This years theme.....Camp Logan.

Logan and I went back and forth with a million theme's and he just could not make up his mind. But, when I mentioned s'mores he was all about the camping theme. 

I went super simple with the decorations. We spent majority of the day outside anyways. 

The weather was looking a little shaky with chances of thunder storms rolling in right as the party got started. We saw the dark clouds but lucky for us they blew right over and we were left with a beautiful sunny day!

We gave the kids binoculars as their party favor and they were a hit!!

I thought they were perfect for a camping party. 

We had a cookout with burgers, hot dogs, a tossed salad, pasta salad and lots of yummy dips!

Logan requested an ice cream cake :) He's his mama's boy!

Kensington means business while eating that cake. SO serious.

The birthday boy - who gave me a giant hug halfway through the party, told me he loved me and let me know this was the best birthday party EVER. (lucky for me he doesn't set the bar too high)

Nobody cooperated for the family picture except Tenley....go figure. She never cooperates for pictures!

We ended the night with the part of the party Logan was looking forward to for weeks - S'MORES!

Thank you to our family and friends who came and celebrated our boy with us. He had the best day!

Happy 4th!!

If I've mentioned it once, I've mentioned it a million times. The absolute BEST day of the year is the 4th of July! You can't beat it! Everyone in my family will agree - it's our favorite holiday!

Get ready for TONS of pictures!

As per usual, we spent the day at Pappi and GranDee's house in Adams Shore and we had a blast!

We started the day off at the annual neighborhood parade. It's so fun to see my kids participate in a parade I did too. Next year we'll have Tenley jump in there too. But the wagon is SO heavy...I don't think Kamryn could've pulled all 3 of them.

After the parade we got things ready for the cookout at Pappi and GranDee's house and then we headed over to the beach..

Then it was time for the bonfire and fireworks...
