Five on Friday

Hey guys! Happy Friday! I'm back for another Five on Friday post and just like last week, these things are all completely and totally random.

One.

Anyone else in this "I need to change everything in my house" mood since taking down your Christmas decorations? I'm dying! I want to redecorate my entire house! I got bit hard by the farmhouse bug years ago and now I want to change it all out. Truth is that my home decor style is definitely more traditional than farmhouse. But I'll blame Fixer Upper, I jumped all in on the farmhouse trend, as I'm sure a lot of you did too. I know I'm not alone. My list of wants just keeps getting longer and longer. I've convinced myself I need a new kitchen (Honestly, my kitchen is super outdated, so this isn't just an after Christmas thing), I want to update our main bathroom, get a new couch, we need to re-do the floor in our family room, I need all the farmhouse wall decor down and need to replace it with more traditional/transitional art. Every day I find myself on Pinterest looking for ideas on how to spruce up my home. I think I'll add home updates to my list of 2025 to-do's. I wonder what I can talk Mike into. Stay tuned...

Two.

Yesterday Archie turned 6 months old! Can you believe it?! He's rolling all over the place. He's so close to sitting up on his own. I blame the big noggin on why he keeps toppling over. LOL! He loves eating solid foods, seriously it's his favorite time of the day. We've officially moved him to his own room and he's doing great. He's just a happy happy baby. I cannot believe we are already halfway to his first birthday. I haven't thrown a big party in a loooong time. I think my last baby's first birthday just might be a good excuse for a party!

here is the link to his cute little hat!

Three.

Right now, Old Navy is having a 40% off everything sale, some things are even more on sale. I recently got the kids some new stuff from there and as usual Old Navy never disappoints. The quality for the price cannot be beat. I swear the girls have some shirts, leggings, dresses, jeans sweatshirts, all the things that were passed down from Kam years ago and they are still in fantastic shape!

I got Archie this sweatshirt with matching sweatpants. It's classic, thick and cozy and cute! Best part right now it's only $12!!

My girls love these types of graphic sweatshirt. They're all the rage right now. This one has a cute mock-neck that I feel like makes it a bit comfier and elevated than a regular sweatshirt. Kensington and Tenley share all their clothes as of right now because they are the exact same size and for now, they don't mind sharing, so we go with it. It's on sale right now for $16!

How cute is this sweatshirt? This one has cute gemstones on the logo. Kensington and Tenley love anything with a little sparkle. They fought over who was going to wear this one first. Best part....it's only $9!!

And you've gotta get a little something for yourself too, right? Apparently, I was in a graphic mood. I grabbed this one for me and I love it! It's perfectly oversized and comfy. I can wear it with leggings, sweats around the house, jeans with a puffer vest over it. I'll even throw it on with jean shorts in the summer. This comes in so many different prints and colors and they range in price from $24 down to $10.

Four.

My hair has gotten LONG, like so long I don't know what to do with it. I straightened it the other day, something I never do, and all 3 of my girls commented on how long my hair is. You know what this means, I'm getting the urge to chop it again. I always do this. I'll chop my hair, love it for a little and then it gets to an awkward length and instead of chopping it again I'll grow it out. Then it gets too long and too heavy, and I can't handle it anymore. It's a process that cycles every couple of years. If you were to scroll through my pictures you would see, my hair is always different lengths. I do this with my hair color too. My hair is always a shade of blonde but always different shades of blonde. To put it bluntly I'm never satisfied with my hair.

Five.

And for number five I'll leave you with these cute pictures of Archie. Because yes, I do have 5 other kids...but who doesn't love a cute baby?!

I'll see you all here next week! xoxo
