Hello 2025!

Hello! Happy 2025!

Doesn't that seem crazy to say? Twenty Twenty FIVE!  

We were very busy over the holidays, doing our Christmas re-dos, Kamryn's birthday and into back-to-school after Christmas break last week. Throw in a couple appointments and a baby sprinkle celebrating my nephew who's due to join us next month and I haven't found even a second to think about the blog. However, I did feel motivated. I bumped into people who were really encouraging for me to keep this going. :) 

Do you think I took pictures? Of course not! Add that to the list of new years resolutions! This whole blogging "full time" is going to be an adjustment for me, one I'm definitely looking forward to, but one thing I need to remember is to take out the phone and snap the pictures!! I find it hard to find the balance between being in the moment and taking the time to take the pictures so I can document the moment. Something I need to work on. Coming here and reading what I wrote is fun and all, but wouldn't you rather see some pretty things and cute faces?

I follow this influencer on Instagram who has about 100k followers (WAY more than me). She's really funny and good at reels so it's no wonder she's got so many followers. Just the other day she was talking about getting back into blogging herself. The funny thing was she kind of scoffed at blogs like mine. She said these types of blogs won't be successful in 2025, that you need a specific niche for people to come to your blog for. Listen, I am not an expert in ANYTHING, so you won't find that here. You will however find little bits and pieces of things I love. Hopefully, that's good enough! 

I think I'll be back for Five on Friday! On Fridays I'll share 5 different random things. Could be some random thing I'm loving lately, could be an update with the kids, myself or Mike, could be something I've purchased on amazon or a new cute outfit, a recipe we tried and loved. Really it could be ANYTHING! But there will always be five things I share on Fridays.
